Website & Service Terms
These terms cover use of this website and the planning information provided through it. A written quote, work order, or service agreement approved for a specific project will control that project if it differs from these website terms.
Website estimates and free assessments
Website prices and instant estimates are planning ranges, not offers or binding quotes. The on-site assessment and written quote are free unless a separate paid diagnostic or consulting service is clearly agreed to in advance. Pricing can change based on hardware selection, wall construction, cable access, concealed conditions, required permits, lift work, customer changes, and other project-specific facts.
Approving work and changes
Work begins only after the customer approves the written scope and price and any scheduling or deposit requirements stated in that document. Work outside the approved scope requires customer authorization and may change the price or completion date.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate property and project information and authority to approve work at the property.
- Provide safe, reasonable access to work areas, utilities, and existing equipment at the scheduled time.
- Identify known hazards, restricted areas, lease or association rules, and any required permissions.
- Maintain Internet service, electrical service, third-party accounts, subscriptions, and compatible devices unless the written scope says otherwise.
Network performance and mesh systems
Wi-Fi performance depends on the Internet plan, provider equipment, building materials, interference, distance, client-device capability, software, radio conditions, and other factors outside an installer's control. No specific wireless speed, range, or uninterrupted availability is promised unless it is written into the approved project scope with a stated test method.
Wired access points generally provide better capacity and consistency. Wireless mesh may be recommended when clean Ethernet runs are impractical or overly invasive, but wireless backhaul shares airtime and may reduce real-world throughput. We explain known tradeoffs during planning.
Cameras, doorbells, and connected devices
The customer is responsible for using cameras, audio recording, and connected devices lawfully and for notifying residents, guests, employees, or others when required. Local recording can reduce reliance on cloud subscriptions, but storage capacity, remote access, retention, and third-party service availability depend on the selected system and configuration.
Third-party products and services
Internet providers, manufacturers, cloud services, apps, and scheduling or payment services are operated by third parties and may change features, prices, policies, compatibility, or availability. Manufacturer warranties apply according to their terms. Any Precision Home Networks workmanship commitment will be stated in the approved quote or service agreement.
Scheduling, cancellation, and property conditions
Scheduling is subject to availability, weather, safe working conditions, product availability, and access to the property. Any cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, or restocking terms applicable to a project will be stated in the approved quote or service agreement before work begins.
Acceptable website use
Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, submit unlawful content, or use forms to send spam or abusive messages. Website content may not be copied or represented as another business's work without permission.
Independence and governing terms
Precision Home Networks is an independent installer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ubiquiti Inc. These website terms are governed by Michigan law to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
